Google surpasses Microsoft in the browser market

Google browsers, Chrome and Android, managed to surpass Microsoft's Internet Explorer, being the most used in the U.S. market, Google strengthening its position in the online advertising market.

According to a recent study by Adobe, Google surpassed Microsoft browser by number of visits to sites in the United States in the PC and mobile gadgets sectors. Together, Google browsers had a market share of 31.8% in April, going up from 26% in April last year.

Internet Explorer fell from 37% to 30.9%, but remains the most used browser for PC, with a market share of 43% compared to 31% for Chrome.

Regarding the mobile sector, the most used browser is Safari by Apple, with 59% of searches, but has a low presence for PCs. Internet Explorer has a very low rate for online devices.
