Executive Dean

Dublin Business School (DBS) is part of Kaplan, Inc, the education division of the Washington Post Company and a leading international provider of higher education, professional development and lifelong learning programmes. We have an enrolment of over 9,000 students and provide over 100 accredited programmes, including undergraduate, graduate, executive and professional programmes.

The Executive Dean will be executive head of academic programmes with overall responsibility for academic planning, development and management, programme management and delivery, staff planning, and development and enhancement of the academic infrastructure, reputation and resource base of Dublin Business School.

The Executive Dean will report to the Chief Executive and will lead the academic management team in DBS, including the Heads of School and the Head of Academic Operations. He / She will be an ex-officio member of the Senior Management Group (SMG) and of the Academic Board, will chair the Schools Executive, and will engage with other Kaplan entities and colleagues on global development projects as opportunities arise.

The person appointed will have outstanding leadership and communications skills, management experience at a senior level, and an impressive academic record.
